
I started with plane and I will be Extrude difference faces which meant that i would get different tile sets.


This is the finished part of this step next step is to delete the faces that I dont need.
I will now be deleting the faces that arent needed marked in red depending if i want to build these as none back facing buildings. E.i if the building isnt interactive with the player then the building wont have faces on it.

I am going to be save asing as I would like to be able to have both kinds of tiles one where the faces arent deleted these will give me an overall set

the problem i have creating the door is that now there are issues with the mess that i need to correct first i need to extrude and target wield onto the box. the area that needs to be extruded is red and connected to white circles.

this is what the finish product looks like. now to add the windows which I may need to delete every other square in side and out side although i have atempleted this once before i may need to wait until the next lession to sort these out.
while building a window on the first room tile, i found i was experiencing issues with extruding from a line I looked inside the model and i found that there was a hidden face within that.

here is the face that i have now found and deleted. this should stop the issues that i was facing.

Since the finishing of this blog post I have switched processes and projects due to not having a clue.
